*A couple of thrilling updates and a few words of gratitude*

Sunday morning (8:00 AM-August 6th), grab a cup of coffee, curl up on the couch and tune in to NBC (channel 4) and watch NEW TO YOU make it's national television debut on the TODAY SHOW! We have reason to believe we will be featured in the last half of the show but aren't positive - so no getting up to use the restroom or anything like that- ...stay glued to your seats!

Thanks to all of you who voted for us as your "BEST BET" vintage/thrift store. We appreciate the continued loyalty and support! The winners will be announced on August 14th-we will keep you posted...keep your fingers crossed!

Finally, I wanted to remind everyone that this is a TAX FREE WEEKEND! *Fall 101* We have been reading up on the latest fashion mags and they are chock full of fabulous ideas and trends to keep you looking oh so up to the minute. We came across a great "must have" checklist in InStyle and decided it was the perfect cheat sheet. This Fall, make sure you have the following hanging in your closets:

RED- wear it or carry it! dresses, chunky turtlenecks and handbags in powerful and provocative scarlet

COATS- VINTAGE and boxy, belted MILITARY, buttoned up PRINCESS and SHORT & structured are the popular silhouettes of the season.

WIDE-LEG TROUSERS- We've said it before and we'll say it again...this is by far the most flattering style for any and every figure!

JUMPERS- not just for Academia, jumpers are a great first step in learning how to layer, not to mention subtly sophisticated and sexy. Pair with a slim turtleneck, tights and boots to get the complete look.

MINIS (and LEGGINGS)- this look can be daunting for those of us who are not completely confident, but with a pair of LEGGINGS (and there is a world of options out there), some cute ballet flats or ankle boots, we know that WE TOO are at the height of fashion, comfortably!

BUBBLES- we are talking hemlines, ladies...and they are super chic on skirts and suprisingly regal on dresses- day and evening looks to suit your fancy.
