We are now accepting Fall consignments which means we have a great big bunch of wonderful items in the boutique. Fall means great mix and match textures, copius amounts of layering, a veritable forest of party dresses and our personal favorite...SCARVES! While we all wouldn't mind another day at the beach, we are glad for the refreshing change in weather...don't the possiblities seem endless?!

On the Clothes Line
Think about Rock and Roll and Romance :Peasant blouses under fitted mannish vests, Crisp Oxford style shirts under corsets, and Velvet ANY and EVERYthing!
60's Mod looks and lots of other vintage inspired silhouettes are all over the place along with swinging knits in A-line shapes. Good news...The wide belt cinched at the waist is as popular now as it ever was!

It's never too early to shop for the Holidays- better to relax and actually enjoy the season, in fact! We have all ready had quite a few women in the boutique shopping for their Festive fashions. Be it a Fall wedding, an office gala, a family event, or a friendly bash, make sure you are thinking ahead! Remember, the occasion and/or the host usually dictate what is appropriate to wear, but here are some ideas to think on:

• Satin is sexy AND elegant at the same time- tone down a satin skirt by pairing it with a bejeweled cashmere twin set
• Cocktail length is appropriate for MOST Holiday Fetes, except for white-tie events, which require you to pull out all the stops!
• The Little Black dress is a great basic and is an extremely hot item and hue to have this season, but liven thing up a bit... try a deep shade of purple or even a little TEAL party dress
• Also, grab a soft and cozy pashmina to drape across your shoulders- it will ward off the chill in the evening air. This is one of the Season's best kept secrets! And on any other day of the week you can wear your pashmina as a chunky scarf or with an oversized brooch over work-week trousers!
